Families Employment Support Officer - Northern Ireland
The Army Welfare Service’s Families Employment Support Officer will assist and advise spouses, partners and adult children (16-25) of serving personnel from all three Services based across Northern Ireland, on the issues related to finding employment.
They will provide advice and local information relating to the area in which you live and work. This includes:
- Focused employment searches
- NI specific employment information
- Job centre contact details
- Vacancies in local press and online
- Information on colleges and universities
- Employment agencies and how to register
- Civil service applications – MOD and NI Civil service
- Signposting service for specialist advice on careers changes
- CV writing /updating advice
- “Civilianising” your CV
- Interview techniques and skills
- Signposting for security advice on external firms.
