We are committed to supporting members of the Armed Forces community in exploring healthcare careers through our volunteering programmes.

About us

Helpforce is a national charity that helps healthcare organisations accelerate the growth and impact of volunteering. This means frontline staff are happier, patients recover more quickly and people get the support they need to keep them well in their community. We support dozens of health and care organisations across the UK to maximise the impact of their volunteers. The charity helps NHS trusts and others to: roll out high impact volunteering services; optimise the involvement of local voluntary and community services; and evaluate the impact of volunteering on patients, staff, volunteers and the wider organisation.

Helpforce's ‘Volunteer to Career’ initiative is more than just a programme; it's a gateway for members of the Armed Forces community to step into meaningful careers in the healthcare sector. By running such an initiative, we provide them with an invaluable opportunity to leverage their skills in a new domain, fostering a sense of purpose and belonging.
