We signed the Armed Forces Covenant on 19 December 2021 and, as a charity providing care to veterans and their spouses are fully committed to the Covenant. We will take whatever steps we can to ensure no disadvantage to serving, reservists, veterans, military spouses or families occurs when accessing our services or when working for us.
About us
Royal Star & Garter was founded in 1916 to care for the severely injured young men returning from the battlegrounds of the First World War. Today, we provide an outstanding range of quality care and therapies to veterans and their partners living with disability or dementia.
We run three Homes in Solihull, Surbiton & High Wycombe, where we deliver specialist nursing care and award-winning dementia care for our residents, together with a varied and engaging programme of activities, which enable residents to remain independent and enjoy life.
We are developing our services to provide day care across all three Homes, an outreach service and care for younger veterans.
