We recognise the unique challenges faced by Armed Forces families and are committed to supporting spouses and partners of serving personnel, including members of the Volunteer Reserve Forces.

We provide special paid leave to spouses and partners at key stages of operational deployment, including pre-deployment and post-deployment periods, to help families prepare for, manage and adjust to the demands of military service.

In addition, we offer flexible working arrangements and compassionate support for Armed Forces family members during periods of deployment, injury, recovery, bereavement or other service-related circumstances. We understand that military life can place additional pressures on families and we are committed to ensuring that no employee is disadvantaged as a result of their connection to the Armed Forces.

Through these measures, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive working environment that recognises the important role played by Armed Forces families and enables them to balance their work and family commitments effectively.
