Description

Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant

As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, Sizewell C is committed to supporting veterans, reservists, and their families, recognising their invaluable contributions and reaffirming our 2023 pledge. We offer initiatives like the Forces Support Network, providing a welcoming community for employees and contractors on the project.

Reflecting on the covenant signing, the Forces Support Network said: "Sizewell C’s signing of the Armed Forces Covenant demonstrates that the Company is committed to creating the right environment for Service Families, Veterans and Reservists to be involved in this nationally significant project. By signing the Covenant during Armed Forces Week, it reinforces the Company’s ongoing commitment to the Forces Support Network."

We’re proud to have achieved our Bronze award and are preparing to apply for Silver next year. At Sizewell C, we value the distinctive skills of the Armed Forces community, which are vital to this nationally significant project.

About us

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. It will be a close copy of Hinkley Point C, which is already under construction in Somerset.

The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which, along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
