Job Description

Gleeds USA is currently seeking an Accountant to Senior Accountant to support our global offices. The role will be based in Atlanta, on a hybrid working schedule. 

Job responsibilities
Candidates will be responsible for the following areas;
  • General accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations and accruals.
  • Account Receivable cycle: Responsible for the creation, codification and data entry of invoices.
  • Accounts Payable cycle: Post invoices, expense reports, checks, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the accounting system.
  • Assist in the creation of new projects and other administrative duties related to maintain our records with contracts and other supporting documentation of financial transactions.
  • Support various aspects of the financial reporting cycle and other administrative tasks.

Who we’re looking for:
 Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
  • 1 to 5 years of related Accountant or bookkeeping experience
  • Working knowledge of purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Working knowledge of tracking materials from ordering through receiving
  • Ability to analyze data, identify anomalies, and resolve issues
  • Attention to detail to ensure invoices charged to correct accounts/projects
  • Ability to work with others to document and resolve issues
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, etc.)
  • Quick books experience preferred
  • Understands procurement processes
  • Data entry
  • Strong problem-solving skills, work ethic, and organizational skills.​

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related finance degree.
