Job Description

It’s an exciting time to join us as we have recently received additional funding to expand and develop our Single Point of Access (SPoA) Service. This means we have a number of opportunities to join our innovative and welcoming team.

SPoA provides urgent mental health help and support over the phone to clients who are not currently receiving care and treatment from KMPT services. It also provides a referral management function. This is a critical role within the organisation as the first point of contact for those contacting secondary mental health care.

Main duties of the job

A vacancy within our administration team has become available, to support the safe and effective running of the service. Key responsibilities include the uploading of documents to the clinical record system and the distribution of patient and referrer information. 

The ideal candidate will be dynamic, self-motivated and forward thinking. You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with passes (A-C) in Maths and English. You will also have a relevant NVQ Level 2/RSA 2 qualification or equivalent. You will have strong customer service skills, a professional telephone manner and  good organisational and keyboard skills. You will be a person who can remain calm and professional when faced with changing or challenging situations.
