About the role

A great opportunity has become available to join Babcock Defence and Security Division to provide administrative support across the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME).

The successful candidate for this role will report into Administration Supervisor and will work alongside another Administrator. Main area of responsibility will be to manage and maintain two documentation systems (one for infrastructure and one for service). Day to day tasks will include data input and extraction as well as basic analysis. Another part of the role will be to support the purchasing function with receipting purchase orders and resolving any queries around them. Last but not least the potholder will monitor job cards assuring that they are passed to relevant supervisors and responded to in a timely manner.

What do I need to do the role?

You will have previous working experience with management information systems and a proven track record in administration and working within a busy customer focused organisation.

You will possess excellent IT skills, are observant and driven taking pride in your work and having the ability to problem solve.

IOSH and purchasing knowledge would be desirable.

What else do I need to know?

Due to the remote office location we can only consider candidates with their own transport. DBS and SC clearance will be required for this role.
