 Location: Charnwood, LE12 7TZ

Job type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Salary: £20,000 

 

Serco's Environmental Services provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Charnwood. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse and Recycling and Street Cleansing staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve. And right now, we have an opportunity for a like-minded Administrator to join our team of essential workers and help us make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

 

Reporting to the Contract Manager, this role will see you maintain and operate vital client communication links, ensuring all work orders are provided and completed in line with Service Level Afreements (SLAs) and to firm deadlines. You will update and manage computer databases and spreadsheets, providing reports and statistical information to senior management, assist the admin team with finance order processing and stock control, assist with payroll and human resource systems when required, coordinate and take minutes for meetings and sort and distribute incoming post and send outgoing post.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

To be considered for this position, we ask that you have experience of working within a fast paced administrative environment with advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and minute taking.

 

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, great attention to detail and able to adapt to ever changing workloads and to work under pressure.
