What is the purpose of this role?
To support the Compliance department ensuring a high quality data production and provide advice and support to the team regarding Amey processes. This is a fixed term contract until November 2021 based at RMA Sandhurst. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00 (37.5 hours) We are offering a salary of £20,000 - £24,000 for this role (dependent on experience/training) Driving Licence will be an advantage due to occasional travel between sites. BPSS security clearance will be undertaken for the successful candidate.

What will this role involve?
* Provide administrative support for the effective, compliant and timely delivery of departmental duties in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies. * Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally. * Preparation and maintenance of reports as required by management utilising MS Excel, WorkManager or other bespoke IT systems to monitor business performance. * Support management in formal meetings including booking suitable facilities, confirming site access for non-pass holders, recording attendance and producing accurate minutes and action logs * Where required, maintain the office filing system in accordance with Amey policy, both electronic and hard copy files. * Support the ongoing completion of Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Security & Fraud and Sustainability processes and initiatives. * Assist in the resolution of complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner

What are we looking for?
* Significant practical experience in administration including a good understanding of administration requirements in a busy, fast paced environment, data processing and management and prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines. * NVQ level 2 qualification in Administration, a related discipline or equivalent experience * Developed IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word etc.) * Experience working within Construction, Property Maintenance or MOD environments is desirable * Ability to work successfully both in a team and independently * Able to effectively communicate across all levels of the business * Maintain a positive attitude and motivate colleagues through clear communication and personal drive and strive for excellence in personal objectives * Use judgement based on previous experience to provide best outcomes
