We are looking for people like you to be an Adult Learning Tutor!
The East Riding of Yorkshire Council Adult Learning and Employability team is here to deliver employment support, learning and skills training to adults across the East Riding and beyond. We have learning centres in Beverley, Bridlington, Cottingham and Goole and deliver classroom-based and virtual training, varying from accredited qualifications to help people reach their employment goals, to tailored learning courses for those who want to develop skills and confidence.
We are looking for ESOL tutors to deliver across our Adult Learning centres, in Beverley, Bridlington and Cottingham. teaching courses from pre-entry to improvers as well as accredited ESOL. This post may include evening and daytime classes, so we require people with the flexibility to offer both.
We welcome CVs from those with a passion to inspire adult learners to achieve their learning goals who have the following skills:
- Hold a Level 4 teaching qualification (or above) and a recognised ESOL qualification.
- Have experience of teaching ESOL across various levels, from pre-entry through to improvers levels.
- A commitment to providing excellent learning opportunities for your learners.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity, Prevent and fundamental British values.
- Good administrative skills to ensure completion of relevant paperwork to drive assessment, learning, achievement and progress.
- Good digital skills.
