As the Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C) Risk Advisory Consultant, you'll be reporting directly to the lead AB&C Risk Advisory Manager.
You'll be working alongside colleagues and teams across the 1st Line of Defence, Economic Crime and Santander UK.

The difference you'll make.
Supporting key stakeholders within the central functions business areas to understand and adhere to the AB&C Policy and Standards, this involves: Consultation, Gap Analysis, training and implementation to foster an ethical and compliant control environment.
Responding to AB&C related declarations for Gifts and Hospitality, including referrals for charitable donations and sponsorships, in line with the 1st line of defence procedures.
Identifying, reviewing, and escalating waivers, breach and exception requests against AB&C Policy and Standards.
Conducting AB&C due diligence reviews and providing decisions within delegated authority.
Identifying AB&C risks and issues to senior management within the FC CoE and Line 2, as well as other key stakeholders as required.
Managing and mitigating the AB&C risk across Central Functions.
What you'll bring.
Knowledge of Anti-Bribery and Corruption legislation and ability to work as an advisory consultant demonstrating its application
Proven experience of providing FC advice and guidance across Retail/Corporate/Central Functions
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience of working in a Financial Crime advisory environment or in a similar capacity
Experience of dealing with challenging conversations from senior stakeholders
Ability to manage workload and working under pressure in busy environment competing demands effectively

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
This is a permanent role which can be based hybrid in our offices in Milton Keynes, Bradford, Glasgow or Sheffield.
