Job Title: Apprenticeship Coordinator 


Apprenticeship: Customer Service and Business Administration Apprenticeships

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 with flexibility to meet business needs


Salary: £19,502 - £25,459 per annum which is scale 5 – 6, points 17 – 26 on the Learning Support Scale dependent on skills and experience


Job Purpose: The role is to support the Head of Apprenticeships through the planning, delivery, co-ordination and continuous improvement of the College’s apprenticeship and traineeship provision. The role includes learner recruitment, induction, design of individual learning plans, and delivery of resources via the e-portfolio, employer engagement, progress reviews and formative assessment. The post holder will be a key member of the apprenticeship team and be responsible for ensuring that apprentices and trainees are registered for all aspects of their programme.


Vision: For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual capable of facilitating the learning of apprentices, from all sizes of organisations / businesses. You’ll be working closely with employers and apprentices to agree training plans, providing support and feedback to the apprentices and completing regular tripartite reviews.


You must be comfortable in using IT to create resources and deliver the apprenticeship through our online e-portfolio system. You should also feel comfortable working and engaging with the team, as well as working under your own initiative. Good communication skills are a must, as is a flexible and positive attitude with the ability to challenge and motivate apprentices.


The successful applicant will have plenty of vocational experience as well as being able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational abilities in order to perform the role of Apprenticeship Co-ordinator successfully.  The role would suit someone who has worked in industry and is now seeking a new challenge, or an individual moving from another apprenticeship role.
