About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Apprenticeship Enrolment Team Leader to join our Engineering and Training Services business unit.

As an Apprenticeship Enrolment Team Leader you'll manage the end to end process for Apprenticeship leads, and quality and performance of the Central Enrolment Team.

You'll use your experience of people and performance management to establish and manage a team of Business Advisors to achieve targets related to Apprenticeship enrolments. You'll manage recruitment campaign themes; liaise with the field based team to ensure signups are co-ordinated in a timely fashion; participate in business wide projects, providing input and expertise on matters relating to recruitment and selection. You'll also collate and analyse data covering all aspects of the lead to enrolment processes to provide regular and ad hoc reports to inform and, where appropriate, influence decision-making

You'll ensure your team present the best level of customer service to employers and candidates during the signup process; identify and establish industry best practice within the apprenticeship enrolment team; conduct formal one-to-ones and training sessions with all team members; analyse individual team member performance to identify learning and development needs.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll have a good standard of general education, including a minimum of Maths and English GCSE's. Relevant experience of leading and managing a customer service based team within a similar industry is essential for this role.

We would also like you to have experience in the following:

  • Government funded training and apprenticeship programmes
  • Call Centre functions and processes
  • Compliance and Quality procedures in a regulated industry
  • People & Performance management, coaching and developing individuals
  • Proven ability to exceed individual and team KPIs

Lastly, you'll have a demonstrable passion for providing excellent customer service through SLAs and quality KPIs; you'll have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and reporting) and the confidence to interact effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels, as well as New Business employers and learners.
