We are seeking to appoint an Aspirations Manager to lead on the Gatsby Benchmarks and raise student aspirations and awareness of post 16 and post 18 options and choices. Starting as soon as possible, this is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to make a difference to the life chances of our students and ensure equality of access for all. The postholder will work between King Edward VI Handsworth Wood Girls’ Academy and King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy, term time only + 10 days.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with external agencies to secure high quality outcomes for young people and have engaged with the Gatsby Benchmarks in education. A Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development qualification is required as is experience of wider professional effectiveness to ensure the post holder plays a full part in the life of both academies to engage and motivate all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be fully supported in their career and professional development through CPD and a commitment to ambitious careers education.
