We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Caretaker / Assistant Site Officer to work at Heathcote School. The role will assist in providing an efficient, effective, healthy and safe range of Site Services. This will include responsibility for the proper cleaning, monitoring of cleaning standards, maintenance and security of School/Education premises and facilities (including Adult Education and Youth Service).
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting new role, day to day activities will include assisting in the security and health and safety of the premises and its contents. The successful applicant will become familiar with contractual KPI's and SLA's and assist in them being met.
The post holder will also be aid in overseeing all contractors undertaking cleaning and maintenance work and monitor operations, helping where required in submitting written reports. They will also help manage site cleaners (where applicable) as well as assist in planning and training. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that all services (i.e. heating, lighting and plumbing) are operating to satisfactory standards the Assistant Site Officer will help arrange and carry out minor repairs and maintenance duties to buildings and equipment as appropriate.
What do we need from you?
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Facility Management or Caretaking role and will need to be flexible.
