As a Team Member for the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian you are responsible for overseeing your department to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience in accordance with the True Waldorf Service Standards.

As Assistant Front of House Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian you are responsible for the day to day running of your department in delivering an excellent Guest and Team Member experience in accordance with the True Waldorf Service Standards.

  • Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain standards in guest service, team member experience, health and safety as well as payroll control, revenue generation and experience innovation
  • Serve as a point of contact for regular and VIP Guests
  • Maximise room occupancy by coaching the team to use best rates and up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  • Curate, understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy as well as service standards for guests, interaction and cross over with other departments
  • Represent the Front of House Manager and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel, its guests and team members.
