Assistant Quality Manager

Our London & South East construction region is looking for someone with technical construction knowledge, along with experience and passion in Quality / Assurance to join the team. The role will be to support and mentor project teams in the basics of good QA practices, generally focussing on our projects in Kent.
This region has circa 15 live projects at any one time with a further 3-6 key preferred bids.
This role will require you to take full responsibility for internal & external Quality & Assurance Audits of the Aylesford office & it's projects. You will be working with the preconstruction team to identify risks and controls at tender stage as well as the projects team until handover and completion. You will need to encourage work to be kept to Kiers' standards by communicating with internal and external stakeholders, whilst using Airsweb and SharePoint for reporting. Assist, sign off and review inspections and tests offering advice and guidance where needed.

We will require you to demonstrate a sound knowledge of construction techniques and be able to communicate at all levels and with internal & external stakeholders. You should have the aspiration to continue your professional development towards membership of a relevant professional assurance body. What will you receive?
