Flu Immunisation We are urgently looking for registered staff to join the NHS Highland Staff Bank to participate in the Annual Immunisation Programme, this will include working in GP Surgeries and other health and social care settings across NHS Highland.

All training will be provided.

Contact Tracing

We are running our contact tracing from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, based out of Larch House in Inverness. Once fully trained and proficient in the role, some home working will be available. The core work will be rostered in advance and does not involve direct patient contact so is particularly suited to those who are restricted in their availability or duties.

We will have a "core" team working across the 8-8, 7 day rota, and also supplement this with “surge” capacity of people who are trained and available at 24 hours notice. Initially we will be using bank arrangements but there will be an opportunity to offer some fixed term contract posts in the future.

Skills needed are:

• Strong communication and listening skills • Able to risk assess and prioritise appropriate actions

• Provide advice to COVID-19 cases and contacts as directed by protocols/ guidance including details about isolation period and what to do if contacts have or develop symptoms of COVID-19.

• Able to follow detailed procedures and templates and accurately establish and capture information from your conversations

• Able to effectively prioritise and manage actions and work under pressure

• Good IT skills with experience of a wide variety of systems and applications

• A clinical background or experience working in a clinical environment is an advantage, but not essential as the team will be a mix of clinical and non clinical colleagues
