More about the role:
The overall role purpose of the Restaurant and Bar Manager is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of Clydebuilt Bar and Kitchen's operation to ensure smooth functioning, excellent customer service, profitability, and compliance with regulations.
  • You will provide exceptional service to our clients and customers
  • Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to
  • Drive foodservice and support service solutions that exceed new and existing customer requirements
  • Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting
  • Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager and Leadership teams, in line with the One Compass vision, values and overall business strategy
About you:
  • Proven experience in a similar bar and restaurant management role with a track record of successful staff management and leadership
  • Experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and menu development
  • Experience in implementing marketing strategies and promotions to drive sales and revenue
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards
  • Passion for hospitality and dedication to providing exceptional service
  • Professional demeanour and appearance, with a positive attitude and friendly character
  • Leads change - is skilled at and embraces the change discussion focusing on improvements with key stakeholders, before driving and supporting change
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with various departments
