Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Blood Sciences (specialising in Biochemistry) to join us to help our multi-site laboratory network in the visually stunning Highlands. Accredited to ISO15189 by UKAS as a 3-site Blood Sciences service we are looking to strengthen our existing network and then to integrate a fourth Highland site. You will be expected to work with support workers and Senior staff members as well as clinicians and management as a Specialist BMS (Biochemistry) whilst ensuring the day to day provision of a safe, effective and efficient blood science service across the network.  

You will be supported by experienced Quality Management and Clinical teams, along with dedicated support staff in a forward-thinking Blood Sciences Department.

Applications will be considered from candidates from a Multidisciplinary background that can demonstrate an appropriate skill in Biochemistry. All applicants must have HCPC registration.
