Salary (Grade H2) £33,797 to £40,332 per annum, plus £2,166 per annum London Weighting

Co-Innovate is a project based at Brunel University London building on the internationally renowned work of Brunel University London. The project promotes innovation and provides advice and guidance to London-based small and medium sized enterprises. In particular, the project will equip the participating companies with open innovation techniques and access to Brunel Academics, students laboratories, testing and prototyping facilities.

The Business Engagement and Marketing Manager, will report to the Director of Business Engagement Strategy and the Co-Innovate Operations Manager, and will lead on the development and implementation of the Business Engagement and Marketing Plan. This is a key role in engaging London SME businesses onto the programme ensuring that the project meets its targets. As the project progresses, the post holder will also promote a wider range of University offerings across talent, skills, innovation and entrepreneurship to cement Brunel’s role as a key local partner into the future.

A degree in a Marketing related subject or equivalent extensive experience in Marketing is advantageous. Candidates will have experience of developing and implementing plans that target SME businesses, preferably within similar sized (seven figure) EU ERDF co-financed projects, and the associated challenges of developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you should be able to assimilate large amounts of information and data from a wide range of sources and refine this into reports and update papers.
