The award-winning Derbyshire visitor attraction, Heights of Abraham is looking for talented, motivated, and friendly individuals to join our Cable Car team.

We pride ourselves in offering our visitors great customer service

Working as part of a team, with a ‘can do’ attitude, your focus is to –

  • help and guide customers as they arrive at the Heights of Abraham,
  • issue cable car tickets and provide first class customer service from the Ticket Office,
  • assist customers to board the cable cars,
  • maintain the high standard of safety, cleanliness and quality around the estate.

You will work alongside the engineering team to ensure safe and efficient daily operation of the cable car system, maximising the opportunity to showcase the quality and high customer service levels we hold. Full training will be given.

Have you got what it takes to hit The Heights?

You’ll be a friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic. A team player who enjoys engaging with a wide variety of visitors. You’ll be educated to GCSE level or above with fantastic communication skills.

You should have experience of dealing face-to-face with the public in a customer service industry. Experience of working in a busy environment would be advantageous. The job is varied and requires you to display a self-motivated, flexible ‘can do’ attitude.

Contract length: This is a seasonal position with contract dates running between 11th February – 6th November 2022.

Pay rate: Above National Minimum Wage

Hours: Variable daytime shifts available. As a visitor attraction, we’re busiest at weekends, school, and Bank Holidays. You will be expected to work a significant share of these peak times.
