About Troopr

Troopr is SaluteMyJob’s digital platform connecting the armed forces community — veterans, service leavers, reservists and military families — with the organisations that can genuinely support them. We run content-led campaigns for forces-friendly employers, building editorial content that reaches and converts the military community on behalf of our clients.

We are growing fast. Three new campaigns start every month, each running for six months, across clients including major construction companies, defence contractors, financial services brands and retail employers. By month six of full operation we will have 18 active campaigns running simultaneously. This role exists because that level of delivery cannot be managed by a founder alone.

What you will be doing

  • Own the delivery of all active campaigns — you are the person who makes sure nothing misses a deadline, nothing slips and no client feels forgotten

  • Onboard around 3 new campaigns every month — brief kickoff, client introduction call, profile setup coordination, hub build briefing

  • Be the day-to-day point of contact for all clients — chasing assets, answering questions, flagging issues, sending updates

  • Manage project management system across all campaigns — you own the system that keeps the business running

  • Brief and coordinate all freelancers — web developer, Meta Ads specialist, Google Ads specialist, video editor on filming days

  • Manage the full distribution calendar across all active campaigns — scheduling content, coordinating newsletter sends, managing social publishing

  • Own partner outreach — distributing content to military charities, regimental associations, forces media and community organisations

  • Pull performance data monthly and compile inputs for the Content Writer and Hatty to turn into client reports

  • QA all content before it goes live — not writing it, but checking it is right, complete and on brief

  • Flag issues early — if a client is going quiet, a deadline is at risk or a campaign is underperforming, you surface it before it becomes a problem

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously — you have done this before and you have a system for it

  • Strong client communication skills — warm, professional, responsive and confident on calls

  • Experience with a project management tool, with a genuine preference for working in an organised system

  • Proactive by nature — you do not wait to be told what needs doing next

  • Comfortable working remotely in a small team with a high degree of autonomy

  • Detail-oriented — you notice when something is wrong before it goes out

Highly desirable

  • Connection to the armed forces community — having served, being a military family member, or having worked in the forces sector makes client relationships significantly easier and gives you an instinctive feel for what the campaigns need to achieve

  • Experience in a content agency, media company or forces-adjacent organisation

  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools

  • Experience coordinating with freelancers or external suppliers

What we offer

  • Real ownership and accountability from day one — you are running the operational engine of a growing business, not supporting someone else's process

  • A mission that matters — the armed forces community is genuinely underserved and Troopr is building something real for them

  • Remote working with occasional in-person days

  • The chance to grow into a Head of Operations or equivalent as the business scales

How to apply

Send your cv or career summary and a short email to andrew@salutemyjob.com with the subject line ‘Campaign Project Manager.’ Tell us about a time you successfully managed multiple client projects simultaneously — what your system was, what went wrong and how you handled it. We do not need a long covering letter. We need to know you have done this before and are good at it.

We look forward to hearing from you and will respond to every application.
