As the Capture Manager for Health, you will lead, manage, and drive to successful conclusion key opportunities in existing (mainly FM) markets as well as supporting development of new market opportunities. Many of these will arise from either frameworks or as a result of organic growth / benchmarking within existing contracts and so will require both a structured and systematic approach to management and the ability to seek and leverage competitive advantage.
We will be leaning on your expertise to profitably and sustainably grow Serco Health by leading on allocated deals within the wider health pipeline, ensuring that bids meet both customer and Serco requirements and are delivered to meet anticipated win volumes. You'll also work directly with Customers, and the wider Health business unit to assess, validate and document customer requirements, key issues and hot buttons. What you'll need to do the role
Firstly, you'll need demonstrable experience of capture management, business development or transition/change delivery, along with proven success in capturing material contracts of £10M+. You'll have the ability to assess capture performance to measure effectiveness, anticipate and resolve problems, and provide strong coaching / mentorship skills in a fast-paced environment. You'll need a proven track record of building winning teams and as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as to roles and participation. Lastly, you'll need the ability to operate successfully in a dynamic and resource constrained market environment.
Meaningful and vital work: This is a new role where you'll be able to strongly influence the direction of the Health division's efforts that help us to deliver to our Health contracts.
