Car Park Attendant

Job Description


We are currently seeking to recruit a reliable and hardworking team player to join our team at the Ninewells Hospital in Dundee as Car Park Attendant.


What will you be doing?


As a Car Park Attendant, one of your key duties will be to patrol car parks and issue Parking Charge Notices (PCN’s) to cars parked in contravention. In addition, you will be required to assist members of the public, monitor CCTV and complete housekeeping and maintenance tasks such as cleaning and litter picking to ensure standards of the car parks are maintained.


Reporting to Assistant Contract Manager, working hours are 42.5 hours per week, any 5 from 7. Training will be provided.


What skills or experience will you need?


Applicants need to be able to work well both individually and as part of a team and need to be able to follow procedures and guidelines. Good interpersonal and literacy skills are paramount for this position as the successful candidates will be dealing with members of the public and other staff on a daily basis and will need to record information on parking notices issued. Major part of the role involves outdoor working activities hence the ideal candidate would need to be able to work in any weather conditions. Appropriate uniform will be provided.


A clean/full driving licence (category B - Manual) is essential. As you will be working with cash, any offer of employment will be subject to criminal record and credit checks.
