We're on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Chef Manager to join our dynamic team in Cowdenbeath. This is more than just a kitchen role - it's your chance to lead a motivated team, create exceptional food, and help shape a modern, forward-thinking food culture within one of the UK's leading catering companies.

As Chef Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operation, leading a catering team of 22 (including 6 direct reports). You'll take the reins on everything from planning delicious, high-quality meals to managing stock and ensuring top-tier hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, inspire, and support your team to deliver exceptional food and service

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, stock control, and compliance

  • Take pride in preparing fresh, innovative meals that wow clients and customers

  • Maintain a spotless kitchen and front-of-house environment

  • Handle weekly reporting and ordering with accuracy and efficiency

  • Champion health, safety, and food hygiene standards

What we are looking for

  • A proven background as a Chef Manager or similar role
  •  Strong culinary skills and a real passion for food
  • A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Computer literate and confident with stock systems and reporting
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to lead by example
  • A keen eye for quality, safety, and service
