If so, we are currently recruiting for a Civil Enforcement Officer at our Gloucester City Council contract. This contract consists of various multi-skilled, multi-role staff overseeing the contract’s parking needs. This makes the Gloucester City Council site an exciting, dynamic, and ever-changing work environment.


What will you be doing?


As a Civil Enforcement Officer, your duties will include patrolling the car parks and issuing Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles that are parked in contravention of the restrictions. You may also be required to provide assistance in using ticket machines and complete basic housekeeping tasks such as litter picking.

Applicants need to be able to work well both individually and as part of a team.


Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be required to work a 40 hour week, Friday to Monday only on a six month fixed term contract, Full training and uniform are provided.


What skills or experience will you need?


You also need to have good interpersonal and literacy skills as you will be dealing with the general public on a daily basis, as well as recording information on penalty notices issued. In addition, you need to be able to follow procedures and guidelines and a full, clean driving licence would be an advantage.
