Role Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to join our Security team on a new up and coming site in Guildford. We are looking for dynamic and proactive Close Protection Operatives with a strong background in the field.

Hours: 06:30-18:30 / 18:30-06:30

Shift Pattern: As and when required

Pay: £177.20 - £244.40 per day

Requirements for the security role:

  • Valid Close Protection SIA licence.
  • Valid full UK Driving licence.
  • A full 5 year working history to meet the BS 7858 screening requirements.
  • To be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Strong customer service.
  • To be able to work on your own and also as a part of a team.
  • Able to work under pressure.

Security duties:

  • Access control and gatehouse duties.
  • 24/7 Surveillance and monitoring CCTV systems, alarm panels and on site activity.
  • Perimeter security involving foot and mobile patrols
  • Immediate threat response- dealing with incidents/ accidents effectively
  • Emergency preparedness and planning and ensuring all safety procedures are followed
  • Principal protection support and ensuring safety measures are taken
  • Liaise effectively with management and the Control Centre to ensure smooth security operations.
  • Ensure all security equipment is maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Documentation and reporting in line with Company procedures.
