This role will be part of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) and will work closely with Cloud Platform and business areas to support coordination and management of the migration of existing Santander product solutions to the Cloud platforms.

This role will define and support the implementation of best practices, research, support, mentoring and cloud coaching for all Santander UK, fostering a culture of cloud learning, continuous improvement and innovation.

The difference you'll make.

  • Managing the finances of the project along with the resource strategy for the Cloud

  • Supporting the CCoE and being the point of contact for cloud projects, supporting that cloud initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget

  • Supporting the CCoE with third party and stakeholder management

  • Monitoring and reporting on key business risks and make recommendations for mitigation to reduce risk

  • Development and management of standard PM artefacts, for example; Cloud Strategies, Plans, RACCI Matrix, Stakeholder Analysis, RAID log, Communication Plan, Training Plan, Change Control, Finances and Planview

  • Working with current and potential business areas to scope out Cloud needs and support the design of plans and roadmaps.

What you'll bring.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a high degree of comfort with executive audiences, displaying excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with budgeting and resources strategy within a Banking environment

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Some experience/exposure with cloud projects

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, computing science or a related technical discipline

  • Direct experience building and delivering solutions.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience supporting the development of engineers

What else you need to know.

We will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role is currently home based with an expectation to travel very occasionally into the Milton Keynes office when required.

This is a permanent position.
