Job Title: Cloud Technical Architect
Location: Solihull or Hook with travel
Salary: Up to £65,000
As a global FTSE 250 company with over 500 contracts across 20 countries we rely on the support of IT Services to keep the business running smoothly and efficiently. As the Cloud Technical Architect, you will play a key role in the day to day and long-term technical management of the Hosting Standard Service function and it's performance. You will be responsible for the overall architecture, high level design and engineering configuration of the Hosting Standard Service, working with suppliers and operational teams to continually review the technology currency and deployments to assure fit for purpose and performance.
In this role, we will be looking for you to utilise your knowledge of system architecture to influence the configuration of the Hosting Standard Service. What you'll need to do the role
Firstly, you'll need proven working experience in IT architecture design and working within an TOGAF aligned organisation with a demonstrable track record of defining high-level architecting and developing configuration deployment designs for enterprise scale infrastructure and application. You'll also need detailed engineering/technical knowledge and experience and the ability to not only articulate features and technologies, but able to assimilate changes from the market into roadmaps and sufficiently detailed to actively enable operational teams. Lastly your going to need knowledge of the Hosting market and experience of working with and actively managing partners/3rd parties.
