About the role:
You will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine.
The CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will also be working within tight tolerances whilst maintaining high quality standards and safety conditions.
What I will be doing:
- The CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will plan Machining by studying engineering drawings, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
- You will be responsible for completion of route cards and engineering documents.
- The CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- You should be able to support and challenge design to make working processes more efficient.
What do I need?
- The CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator must have 3 axis experience.
- You must have experience with the operation of CNC and Manual mills, and lathes, pillar drills, grinders.
- The CNC Programmer must be familiar with FANUC, SIEMENS, MAZAK CNC controls.
