Permanent

25 hours per week

NS6 £25,992-£27,269 per annum, pro rata

We are looking for a Collections and Exhibitions Officer to assist with the management and display of the objects in the museum collections - could it be you?

The National Civil War Centre – Newark Museum is looking for an enthusiastic person, who is eager to learn and passionate about history, to join its Collections and Exhibitions Team.  The successful person will join an experienced, friendly team and assist in the management of the collections and exhibitions over three sites, including the Resource Centre, home to our collection of over 95,000 objects, and Newark Castle. You will have knowledge of ACE Accreditation, SPECTRUM and Collections Management software and have the creative flair to display objects in imaginative ways.

If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to carry out research for interpretation, public enquiries, talks and tours, and experience of working with volunteers, we want to hear from you.
