Conference & Events Administrator

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Conference & Events Administrator to join our team at the China Fleet Country Club. We are looking for someone who is super organised and an experienced office administrator to join the sales team and support the day to day running of our growing wedding, conference and event business. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Main purpose of the job:-

  • To manage and organise the day-to-day administrative activities, specifically: -
  • To administer all C&E bookings from confirmation through to the event on the day
  • To provide excellent communication with the operations team
  • To provide excellent customer service to all customers

 

Duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • responding to a range of customer enquiries by phone and email

  • account management, keeping existing accounts up to date, creating new accounts and managing account queries
  •  

  • keep booking system updated at all times with full and concise information for all bookings including costings and itineraries
  • follow up quotations when required, maintaining the accuracy of information
  • be responsible for daily billing and invoicing
  • manage the deposit schedule on a regular basis, ensuring all monies are received in accordance with our terms & conditions
  • conduct customer show rounds and appointments, displaying a clear & comprehensive knowledge of the venue, menus and packages
  • effectively communicate with the operational team to ensure all event details are handed over, so that service is delivered to exceed the clients expectations
  • taking payments and understanding the financial aspects of the job
  • strive to meet sales targets at all times

    Essentials

  • Full UK driving licence

     

     

    Full Time or Part Time the hours will be discussed for the right candidate

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, occasional weekend work to attend exhibitions when required
