About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Course Planner and Booker on a 1 year fixed term contract basis.

You'll be responsible and accountable for the planning of Military and Civilian personnel on ME, AE, ME(Nuclear), INM, IG and Commercial courses at HMS Sultan and external establishments using JPA and TAFMIS on behalf of DCTT EMTC in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.

This is fast paced role in an interesting training environment.

  • To be responsible and accountable for the planning of Military and Civilian personnel courses at HMS Sultan and external establishments using TAFMIS
  • Liaise with civilian companies to arrange commercial (K) courses for Royal Navy personnel within budget and control within TAFMIS and JPA.
  • Produce Long Term course plans
  • Create information systems templates for above courses, plan, schedule and de-conflict them.
  • Input all Sultan course occurrences into JPA and TAFMIS and keep all Sultan course data current in JPA and TAFMIS by administrating all relevant Training Planning documentation.

What do I need to do the role?

You must have a strong Administration background, experience working in a fast paced role for a large company, excellent communication skills, from a University/College would be ideal but not essential and experience using TAFMIS or similar training system is preferred.

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
