Job Description

Every Security Monitoring Centre employee will work within government guidelines to minimize interaction and maintain social distancing, on our own premises and beyond. To that end, our talent acquisition team and hiring managers will utilize phone and video interviewing to ensure candidates remain safe whilst receiving the best possible interview experience.

Security Monitoring Centre now has an opportunity for a full time Customer Service Agent (CCTV) in Nottingham. The main goal of this role is to assist with the monitoring and response to CCTV and intruder alarms based at our newly refurbished Nottingham Security Monitoring Centre. 

What will I be doing as a Customer Service Agent? 

  • Respond to and process CCTV and alarm activations, speedily and accurately
  • Inform the relevant Emergency Authorities and Customers
  • Handle internal/ external customer related enquiries and deliver high levels of customer service at all times
  • There are various shift patterns available and you will work 38.5 contractual hours per week. Examples of shifts available: rotating system of two 7am to 7pm days, followed by two 7pm to 7am nights and then four days off, four permanent nights rotating or potential fixed days/nights.

     

  • To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have previous customer service experience, ideally telephone based
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work on your own initiative as well as working as part of a team in a customer service environment
