Base Location: NorthLink Ferries, Kiln Corner, KW15 1QX

Permanent / Part Time (14 hours p/w: Mon & Tue)

£7084.14 pa + Excellent Corporate Benefits Package


NorthLink Ferries has been run by Serco since July 2012 and is an operator of passenger and vehicle ferries, as well as ferry services, between mainland Scotland and the Northern Isles of Orkney and Shetland. 


Here at Serco, we have an opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join our fantastic team at Kiln Corner, where you will provide an excellent first point of contact with our customers either via telephone, face to face or electronic methods, within one of Transport's flagship contracts. You will support all customers at the terminal and be involved in general administrative tasks - taking and handling of payments, managing customer enquiries and bookings and using the NorthLink Ferries booking system.


What you'll need to do the role


This is an opportunity for an individual who must show a drive to deliver good customer experience, a natural communicator as well as having a good knowledge of IT.


Experience within a customer facing role is not essential, as training will be given but highly desirable with this opportunity.
