As a Customer Service Greeter you will be the face of the Work Café, giving that warm and professional first touch interaction with all those that come in. You will have a wealth of knowledge, explaining the Work Café's features and benefits as well as championing the digital and self-services facilities. You will co-ordinate all customer requirements and direct them to the appropriate zone, facility or colleague to give them the best possible experience while visiting our Work Café.
The difference you will make.
Leading as the 'front of house' face of the Work Café, you will deliver first class interactions and experience with all those visiting.
Engaging and welcoming people in Work Café, explaining its features and benefits as well as demonstrating and championing the digital and self-service facilities.
Supporting the Work Café Manager with co-ordinating customer room bookings and co-working facilities including the setup for Work Café Talks and events.
Assisting customers who are in the Work Café by acting as a key point of contact, directing them to the appropriate café areas, or referring them to an appropriate colleague whom may be best placed to provide for their requirements.
Working a 35hr weekly pattern to cover opening hours Monday - Saturdays 8am to 6pm on a rotational basis.
What you will bring.
A proven ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs, while seeking opportunities to meet and exceed their expectations.
Excellent digital awareness and experience in proactively encouraging customers to embrace digital transformation and technologies.
It would also be nice for you to have.
The ability to communicate effectively and enthusiastically with a wide range of external customers, groups and stakeholders.
Capability to spot opportunities to improve processes and interactions and make well thought through recommendations to the Work Café Manager.
The ability to identify, assess, manages and report risks within own business area and across Santander UK.
Demonstrates role model behaviours such as Embrace Change, Show Passion, Active Collaboration and Give Support.
What else you need to know.
Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
This is a 12-month fixed term position based in the Work Café in Leeds city centre.
