Job Description

We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting opportunity within the HR and Finance Systems Transformation Project for a Data Quality and Migration Lead.


This is an exciting opportunity to join a project team which has responsibility for delivering a new HR and Finance System that will transform the HR Service and enabling the realisation of business benefits to deliver between £20m and £31m savings over the next 10 years, as a result of new ways of working. Working as part of our dynamic team the roles will be critical to the success of the project and will need to be filled by talented and proactive people. 


You will be working as part of a team focused on implementing new cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), HCM (Human Capital Management) and EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), working closely with the Functional Manager for each workstream as well as the external Systems Implementer.


The data migration workstream is responsible for delivering a successful data migration to support and enable a seamless cut over from existing systems to the new Oracle Cloud functionality for go-live in November 2021.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven data migration track record, particularly in relation to large complex systems projects, coupled with a relevant professional qualification to evidence the required level of leadership and technical expertise required for the programme. The post will also be responsible for:


  • Executing the data migration process in conjunction with the System Implementer, mapping data items from legacy and line of business systems to the new functionality
  • Ensuring system to system reconciliation
  • Supporting and directing the focus of advance data cleansing activity, and validating the results to ensure a robust and comprehensive approach
  • Develop appropriate data capture methodology to gather data to support new system functionality
