King Richard School is looking to appoint an outstanding, flexible, and reflective teacher of modern foreign language who has recent UK experience of teaching in their subject specialist area from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing excellent relationships with staff and students and of planning and delivering an engaging curriculum to ensure that students make outstanding progress.
King Richard School is located in Dhekelia, in the Eastern Sovereign Base Area of Cyprus. Located overlooking the Mediterranean, the school serves predominantly children of MOD personnel and members of the local community. The school has around 150 pupils on roll and consistently achieves results at Key Stage 4 that put King Richard School in the top 3% of schools nationally. That is only part of the reason why the school has achieved an Outstanding grading at our last two OFSTED inspections. Community is a major part of our school vision and this offers a depth to our context that is extremely rewarding.

As the Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) you will be responsible to the Head of MFL. Your key duty will be to ensure outstanding learning and outcomes for students in our School.
