The job on offer

We are currently delivering to an end client in the public sector that has an urgent need for a DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes skills. Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer / Azure Administrator / Azure Developer (Associate)

Your role

  • Working within the CSI (Continual Service Improvements) Team to integrate products into a DevOps environment AND Managing, building, configuring, administering, operating, and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment 
  • Developing and maintaining scripts/playbooks to automate tool deployment to the customer cloud environment 
  • Defining enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practices
  • Applying development best practices across the account
  • Developing an automated testing framework within DevOps processes

Your profile

  • Demonstrable experience working as a DevOps Engineer in complex, enterprise-scale environments Excellent knowledge and experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within Terraform and configuration Management in Ansible 
  • Cloud deployment and migration expertise, completed in the past and Confident working in an Agile environment and team setup 
  • Strong communicator, comfortable liaising with all levels of stakeholders both internally and externally 
  • Experience with the following tools preferred: o Jira o Confluence o GitLab o Jenkins o Ansible o Terraform o Python 
  • Experience with both Windows and Linux server administration • Knowledge of Cisco ACI fabric, load balancers, Networks, and Firewalls. Support developers as they use the suite of DevOps services, primarily Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, GitLab, and Terraform
