Director of Sales
Salary from £50,000 per annum(Negotiable based on experience)

What you'll be doing:
  • As our Director of Sales you will take responsibility for the achievement of the revenue target for your venue whilst supporting the other properties in the collection.
  • Create and implement a cohesive, pro-active, Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • As a member of the Venue's Senior Management team, play an active role in the development of the venue's Business Plan.
  • Build long term, profitable client relationships with your accounts that enable account revenue growth and retention.

More about the role:
  • Responsible for developing a sales culture for the venue, acting as the sales ambassador demonstrating expertise and motivation
  • Take responsibility, attend and contribute to the sales strategy meeting
  • Be the visible sales leader within your venue
  • Be fully engaged with the TVC sales and marketing plan and also the Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP) sales activity calendar
  • Ensure you are conversant with your property's sales forecast and need periods so that pro-active activity can be undertaken
  • Research and profile local market clients and ensure they are targeted for business
  • Carry out comprehensive competitor analysis for your property in order to be aware of future market risks and opportunities to capture market share
  • Work with the venue teams to acquire and follow up on all sales leads
  • Attend relevant events and exhibitions as required
Who you are:
  • A strong understanding of the Conference and Event UK market
  • The ideal candidate will also previously have worked within the hotel/hospitality sector
  • The role requires flexibility with regards to working hours
  • You will be required to travel to all TVC properties which may require overnight stays
  • To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are naturally confident, highly driven and have a focused and ambitious nature
  • You will have a proven track record of developing and winning new Conference, Event and Corporate business
  • A track record of retaining and growing existing customers
