Duty Manager

The job itself

East Riding Leisure Goole are seeking a part time (20 hours) motivated and customer focused Duty Manager to join our leisure team working on a rota basis including weekends, early mornings and evenings. This is an exciting opportunity to join East Riding Leisure Goole at a key point in the development of the new ERL Goole facility, with the new centre due to open in November 2026.

You will be responsible for the day to day operation of this facility working to ensure a safe, welcoming and high quality experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities include supervising staff, staff training, monitoring and development, maintaining health and safety standards and site maintenance, handling customer queries and supporting the delivery of excellent service across the site.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a passion for health and fitness, be proactive and have experience in a customer facing fast paced environment.

This role is expected to commence from the 5 th October 2026 in preparation of the opening of the new facility.
