Electrical Technician

Serco Health - Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Colney Lane, Norwich NR4 7UY

Permanent - 37.5 hours per week.  Monday-Friday 08:00am-16:00pm (Day Shift)

£28,000- £34,000 per annum + benefits

We are looking to now recruit for an Electrical Technician working in the Hard FM team at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

 

The successful candidate will perform high level maintenance & repairs on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment including MTHW Boiler Plant, Heat Stations, Low Pressure Hot Water Systems, Steam Raising Plant and associated equipment, HVAC, Medical Gas Plant and Systems, Chiller Plant, Pumps, Building Management System, Pneumatic Tube System, Electrical Distribution Circuits, Access Control System, CCTV  etc as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Serco and Trust safety standards, and procedures. The candidate will also be able to carry out Supervisory duties as required

 

What you'll need to do the role

First and foremost, you should have completed City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate may have even completed an apprenticeship or structured programme in Electrical/Operations & Maintenance Engineering or equivalent. You will ideally have time served experience in a maintenance role. There must be the ability to use Microsoft Office suite specifically Word and Excel.
