Endoscopy Nurse

         Deliver a safe and effective patient centred care to our service users, their families and carers

         Ensure the clinical care requirements of patients are communicated effectively.

         Responsible, for supervising, developing, mentoring newly qualified staff, non-qualified staff, students, volunteers etc.

         To lead the team in the overall running of the department in the absence of a Senior Sister on duty and ensuring safe staffing levels - including informing senior staff/managers of any problems and providing solutions.

         Participate in Endoscopy lists covering various roles when competent as required.

         Undertake admissions including nurse consent and cannulation when competent.
