Salary:                                        £33,799 - £38,813 per annum (City Pay Band 6)

As a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) this will be a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual with a practical approach and positive attitude to identify and deliver energy efficiency improvements to our housing stock and other buildings.

You will be responsible for energy audits, SAP calculations and assessments, EPC certificates and maintaining the energy database.  In addition, you will build and maintain effective relationships with our tenants and leaseholders as well as respond to and deal with enquiries relating to utility metering and billing.

With your experience of delivering project work within agreed timescales and your ability to keep others informed and updated on progress, we will look to you to assist in identifying new projects, prepare scheme appraisals/ budget costs and prioritise when work is required.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team and will be familiar with building services and mechanical/ electrical installations.  With a good working knowledge of energy modelling and an understanding of environmental design principles the postholder will research and initiate funding for energy efficiency improvements and support in the development of climate change strategies whilst ensuring the wider team gain an understanding of new technologies and energy efficiency initiatives.
