Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new role from September?

Monarch Education are working with a secondary school in the Midsomer Norton area who are looking for a confident and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from the start of the new academic year.

The role
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping pupils develop their reading, writing, communication and analytical skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people, promoting literacy and supporting pupils to achieve their potential in English.

You will be:
* Teaching English across KS3 and KS4
* Delivering engaging lessons across language and literature
* Supporting pupils with reading, writing, comprehension and analysis
* Planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum where required
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Promoting a safe, organised and positive learning environment
* Encouraging confidence, creativity and independent thinking
* Working closely with department staff and senior leaders
* Following safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

We are looking for someone who is:
* A qualified teacher with QTS
* Experienced or confident teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
* Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
* Passionate about English, literacy and pupil progress
* Flexible, reliable and professional
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly
* Calm and confident with classroom management
* Organised, proactive and adaptable
* Committed to supporting pupil progress, confidence and wellbeing

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching English in a UK school setting
* Strong subject knowledge across the English curriculum
* Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
* Right to work in the UK
* Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
