Post Title: Estate Skills Teacher - encompassing ecology and habitat management


Post Reference: AG64


Hours: 0.6 fraction* which is 3 days per week, Monday – Friday with flexibility to meet business needs


*this role would be considered as a job share – please state on your application form what hours / fraction you would be interested in and what level (foundation to degree) of teaching experience you have.


Salary: £12,456 - £15,075 per annum (£24,043 - £25,125 per annum pro rata) which is Point L7c - L8c on the Academic Staff Salary Scale, depending upon qualifications and experience.   


Job Purpose: To teach and develop the specialist skills of learners and carry out regular formative and summative assessment.  This will include practical, theory and online lessons.  The teaching of estate skills encompasses planning, building and maintenance of boundaries, surfaces and animal accommodation, plus habitat management.


Vision: For this role, we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated teacher with the ability to deliver high quality, inspiring lectures and practical teaching sessions with strong industry links to give our learners an exceptional learning experience.
