Join us as an eTrading Oversight Risk and Controls Manager

  • You’ll manage eTrading oversight Book of Work activities to deliver continuous improvement of the global eTrading risk function
  • We’ll look to you to maintain an understanding and governance of eTrading policies, control guidelines and regulatory requirements for the bank

What you'll do

You’ll deliver effective support to management with oversight activities eTrading Business with algorithm reviews and recommendations. You’ll also support existing implementations and contribute to the ongoing development of electronic trading oversight controls.

You’ll also be:

  • Participating in testing of implementations
  • Demonstrating and explaining control effectiveness to stakeholders in trading and IT
  • Supporting annual self-assessment activities
  • Working with relevant stakeholders including first line of defence controls and technology to deliver eTrading Oversight assessments

The skills you'll need

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering subject from a premier academic institution with a firm understanding of risk management principles. It would be desirable for you to have experience in working with databases and real-time datasets, and familiarity with eTrading regulations.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Algo Trading, eTrading and Algo model development or validation experience
  • Experience in the banking industry, and the regulatory and commercial environments with a particular focus on eTrading
  • Strong coding and automated testing experience
  • Knowledge of process management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill to productively liaise with stakeholders and colleagues
