Contract: Permanent, full time

Delivering contracts. Creating communities. Developing careers.

The Kier Facilities Management team offers an incredibly wide range of innovative management and maintenance solutions, right across the UK - from the RAF Duxford base that welcomes over 20,000 visitors a year, to local fire stations that help protect millions of people. We're a crucial part of Kier Specialist Services, providing hard and soft facilities management to hundreds of Government department sites and public buildings - offering you a role that will challenge and reward you, every single day.

Kier Specialist Services are recruiting now for a Facilities Manager to undertake responsibility for a prestigious FM contract we hold with BSF Lewisham - covering a cluster of schools within the Lewisham area.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting and varied role, you'll ensure the effective delivery of both hard and soft services in accordance with contractual obligations, whilst manufacturing literature and operational programmes.

As an integral member of our FM team you'll manage and maintain excellent levels of service for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance requirements at school sites - driving team performance, managing key stakeholders and ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety policy.

What do we need from you?

If you are a highly effective team manager, with sound PFI expertise and experience within the facilities management industry - this could be the role for you.

You'll need to be energetic, punctual, proactive and reliable with the ability to lead, guide, and motivate others towards achievement.

What will you receive?

You can expect a competitive salary and an outstanding package that includes private healthcare, a matched pension scheme up to 7.5%, 26 days' annual leave (with the opportunity to buy or sell holiday), two employee Share Scheme options, together with additional valuable benefits such as:

  • Free Life Assurance
  • Access to a range of attractive Flexible benefit options to tailor your package to suit your lifestyle
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Access to Kier Rewards, our exclusive Discount Shopping Site with deals available at over 800 retailers
  • Plus, many more benefits geared to your wellbeing.

Pre-employment checks

It's worth remembering that if you are successful, we'll undertake the relevant / standard pre-employment checks after you have been offered a job. This includes taking up your references, verifying your right to work in the UK, verifying your driving licence (if applicable) and a health assessment.

Due to the nature of this role, you will also be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (applicants with criminal convictions will be treated on a case by case basis. We do not discriminate based on an applicant's criminal record or the details of any offences disclosed to us). Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks.
